Adani Power will build a 2,400 MW greenfield thermal plant in Bihar to supply 2,274 MW to state discoms.

  • Project cost is nearly $3 billion; plant to be developed under the DBFOO model with ultra-supercritical technology.
  • Power will be supplied at Rs 6.075/kWh; the first unit to be ready in 48 months, the last in 60 months.
  • Fuel sourced via SHAKTI Policy; project expected to boost industrial growth and power reliability in Bihar.
