Airtel, Jio Shine in Q1 with Strong Growth

India’s top telecom firms, Airtel and Jio, posted strong Q1FY26 results on higher ARPU, rising subscribers, and tariff hikes.

  • Airtel ARPU surged 18.4% YoY to ₹250, while Jio ARPU rose 14.9% YoY to ₹208.8 in Q1FY26.
  • Airtel revenue rose 28.5% YoY to ₹49,463 crore; Jio revenue climbed 16.6% YoY to ₹30,882 crore in Q1FY26.
  • Airtel's EBITDA margin stood at 56.9%; Jio saw 300 bps jump to 56% with ₹17,301 crore EBITDA in Q1FY26.
