  Published 10 months ago

India’s auto retail dipped 4.31% YoY in July 2025, as rural demand softened amid rains and crop-sowing delays.

  • 2W segment fell 6.48% YoY; rural demand weakened due to heavy rains and ongoing agricultural activities.
  • PVs dropped 0.81% YoY but rose 10.38% MoM, led by rural demand and festive-period deliveries.
  • Tractors surged 10.96% YoY as subsidies, liquidity, and strong monsoons lifted rural buyer sentiment.
