Bank of Baroda Profit Jumps 15%

Bank of Baroda reports a 15% rise in Q1 FY26 operating profit, despite a decline in NII and lower NIM; asset quality improves.

  • Operating profit grew to ₹8,236 crore; NII down 1.4% YoY, NIM narrowed to 2.91% from 3.18%.
  • Gross advances rose 12.4%, domestic deposits up 8.1%; CASA deposits saw 5.5% YoY growth.
  • GNPA fell 10.7% YoY to ₹27,572 crore; GNPA ratio dropped to 2.28%, CRAR healthy at 17.61%.
