Over 30.95 crore unorganised workers registered on eShram portal launched for Aadhaar-seeded national database and worker support.

• eShram launched on 26th August 2021 for building a national database of unorganised workers with Aadhaar seeding.
• Workers get a Universal Account Number (UAN) through self-declaration for identification and welfare benefits.
• The portal aims to streamline delivery of social security schemes to unorganised sector workers across India.
