  • Unique capital market investors jumped from 4.2 crore in 2020 to 13 crore by June 2025.
  • Domestic investors pumped ₹18 lakh crore (~$210B) into equity mutual funds since April 2019.
  • In contrast, FPIs brought in only $29B during the same period, showcasing strong retail participation.
