Indian alloy steel producers filed an anti-dumping petition against China, citing low-priced imports hurting the domestic market over the past three years.

  • ASPA filed an anti-dumping petition on July 31 with the Directorate General of Trade Remedies under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India.
  • Members include JSW Steel, Jindal Steel, Kalyani Steels, and Mukand Sumi; India earlier imposed a 12% safeguard duty on some steel imports.
