India Telecom Adds 1.13 Cr Users in June

India’s total telephone subscribers rose to 121.83 crore in June 2025, with steady growth across wireless and broadband.

  • Wireless users reached 117.08 crore, growing 0.21%, while broadband subscribers touched 97.97 crore, up 0.50% monthly.
  • Jio led with 4.54 lakh additions; Airtel added 50,036; Vodafone Idea lost over 52,000 users in June 2025.
  • Private players dominate the mobile market with 92.20% share; PSU telcos BSNL and MTNL hold the remaining 7.80%.
