India's 2025 Monsoon Forecast: Above Normal Rainfall

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts the 2025 southwest monsoon will likely bring 106% of the Long Period Average (LPA) rainfall, with a 4% margin of error. Most of India is expected to receive normal to above normal rainfall, except parts of Northwest, East, and Northeast India.
