India's Forex Reserves Surge!

India's foreign exchange reserves jumped by $6.992 billion to $692.721 billion as of May 23rd, driven by increases in foreign currency assets, gold holdings, SDRs, and IMF position, according to the RBI.

  • Foreign currency assets rose by $4.516 billion.
  • Gold holdings increased by $2.366 billion.
  • IMF position strengthened by $30 million.
