India’s M3 Money Supply Slips 0.3%

India’s M3 money supply dipped 0.3% fortnightly to ₹281.41 lakh crore as of July 11, up 9.5% YoY.

  • Currency with the public rose 7.5% YoY to ₹37.22 lakh crore; time deposits climbed 9% to ₹213.57 lakh crore.
  • Bank credit to the commercial sector grew 9.6% YoY, slowing from 13.5% growth a year earlier.
