India’s crude output dipped in June 2025 as petroleum product imports and production climbed; overall consumption slightly declined.

  • June 2025 crude oil output fell 0.5% YoY to 2.3 MMT; crude imports rose 5% to $9.7 billion.
  • Petroleum product imports surged 18.4% in June, driven by LPG, naphtha, and petcoke demand growth.
  • Refinery output up 3.3% YoY; petroleum consumption dropped 1.1% during April-June FY26 versus the previous year.
