India’s WPI Inflation Turns Negative

India’s wholesale inflation fell to -0.13% in June 2025, the lowest since October 2023, driven by falling commodity prices.

  • Fuel & Power index declined 2.52% month-on-month as electricity and mineral oil prices dropped sharply.
  • WPI Food Index inflation turned negative at -0.26%, despite a month-on-month rise in overall food prices.
