IndiGo Co-founder Sells $1.4B Stake

IndiGo co-founder Rakesh Gangwal is selling up to a 5.7% stake (~$1.4 billion) in the airline via a block deal. The sale led by major banks is at a 4.5% discount to Monday’s closing price.

  • Gangwal currently holds 13.5% of IndiGo shares.
  • Up to 22 million shares are being offered.
  • Deal size increased from the initial $803 million.
