JSW Energy Q1 Profit Jumps 45%

JSW Energy's Q1 FY26 PBT rose 45.43% YoY, led by capacity expansion, higher generation, and improved EBITDA margins.

  • EBITDA grew 93% YoY to Rs 3,057 crore, with margin improving to 56% on strong organic and acquisition-led growth.
  • Net power generation surged 71% YoY to 13.5 BUs, backed by new capacity and higher output at key plants.
  • Installed capacity rose 70% YoY to 12,768 MW, adding 1,893 MW in Q1 FY26 from renewable and thermal sources.
