  Published 8 months ago

Maruti Suzuki's Q1 FY26 PBT rose 3.1% YoY, even as operating EBIT fell on cost pressures and forex impact.

  • Net sales grew 8.1% YoY to Rs 36,624.7 crore, aided by higher non-operating income and modest sales volume growth.
  • Operating EBIT dropped 18.9% YoY; margin shrank to 8.3% due to cost pressures and Kharkhoda plant expenses.
  • Domestic sales slipped 4.5% YoY, exports surged 37.4%, helping total volumes rise 1.1% to 5,27,861 units.
