Petronet Q1 Profit Falls 25% YoY

Petronet LNG's Q1 FY26 profit before tax dropped 25.3% YoY as LNG volumes declined despite operational efficiency and stable prices.

  • Total operating expenses fell 9.6% YoY to ₹10,720.14 crore; LNG volumes processed down to 220 TBTU from 262 TBTU.
  • Dahej terminal handled 207 TBTU, lower than 248 TBTU last year; efficiency gains supported financial performance.
  • Net worth surpassed ₹20,000 crore for the first time, reaching ₹20,233 crore by June 30, 2025.
