  Published 8 months ago

System liquidity averaged Rs 3 lakh crore daily, aiding broad-based rate cut transmission across money, bond, and credit markets.

  • Surplus liquidity rose from Rs 1.6 lakh crore to Rs 3 lakh crore post last policy, supporting monetary easing efforts.
  • WALR for fresh rupee loans dropped 71 bps; 55 bps of this was due to repo rate cuts since February 2025.
  • Deposit rates also eased, with WADTDR on fresh term deposits falling by 87 bps during the same period.
