RBI Report: Currency & Reserve Money Update

As of May 30, 2025, India's currency in circulation slightly decreased to Rs 38.35 lakh crore, while reserve money increased to Rs 49.62 lakh crore. Year-over-year, currency circulation rose 7.4%, exceeding last year's growth.

Currency in circulation down 0.2% week-over-week.
Reserve money grew by 0.40% this week.
Year-to-date currency increase is 3%.
