RBI Reports 7% Rise in Currency

RBI says India’s currency in circulation rose 7% YoY to ₹38.25 lakh crore as of July 11, 2025.

  • Weekly currency circulation grew 1%, and reserve money edged up 0.1% to ₹49.26 lakh crore.
