RBI Transfers ₹2.68 Lakh Crore Surplus

The RBI's Central Board, chaired by Sanjay Malhotra, reviewed the economic outlook and approved the Annual Report for 2024-25. A surplus of ₹2,68,590.07 crore will be transferred to the government, following an increase in the Contingent Risk Buffer to 7.50%.
