Reliance Infra Q1 EBITDA Jumps 29%

Reliance Infrastructure posted 29% YoY EBITDA growth despite an 18% revenue drop, aided by cost controls and improved profitability metrics.

  • Revenue fell 17.86% YoY to ₹5,907.82 crore, while total expenses declined only 4.84% in the same period.
  • Profit before tax hit ₹286.67 crore vs loss of ₹78.29 crore last year; exceptional items totaled ₹0.62 crore.
  • Power purchase cost dropped 8.12%, but employee expenses rose 5.97%; E&C, metro, and defence projects remain core focus.
