SAIL posts strong Q1 FY26 results with sharp profit growth, higher sales volume, and improved operational efficiency amid rising domestic demand.

  • Revenue rose 8% YoY to ₹25,921.46 crore; profit before tax surged to ₹889.76 crore from ₹14.26 crore.
  • EBITDA grew 21% YoY to ₹2,925 crore; material costs fell 21.4% while employee expenses rose nearly 6%.
