Tata Motors Slips Ahead of Q1 Results

Tata Motors shares fell 0.9% as JLR’s Q1 profit is expected to drop for the fourth straight quarter.

  • JLR Q1 profit seen at Rs 33.94 bln, down from Rs 55.66 bln a year ago.
  • Overall vehicle sales, including JLR, declined 9% in Q1; revenue estimated at Rs 1.01 trln.
  • Stock rated “buy” on average with Rs 750 PT; YTD down 13%, among Nifty Auto’s biggest laggards.
