UPI Hits Record 19.47 Billion Transactions

India’s UPI set a new high in July 2025 with 19.47 billion transactions, reflecting strong monthly and yearly growth.

  • July transactions rose 5.8% from June and 35% YoY, showing UPI's growing digital payment dominance.
  • Transaction value reached Rs 25.08 lakh crore, just shy of May’s record, marking a 22% YoY surge.
