WABAG operates a 40 MLD Madinat Salman STP with full O&M for five years, including maintenance.

• Plant features tertiary treatment, aerobic digestion, thermal drying, and automatic bagging for Class A sludge.
• Completed in 2018 after the EPC contract of 2015, WABAG has operated and maintained it since November 2018.
• Treated water is fully reused for irrigation across 13 islands, supporting sustainable agriculture and ecosystem needs.
